Qustion OR Confusion Why does iOS 10 feel like a step backwards in design?

I know well about  graphics, I have keen eyes, love the details and appreciate them the most when they are subtle to serve the purpose. This is why I fell in love with Apple products at the first place, they are simply beautiful and easy to use.
Apple is the only company that believes in absolute simplicity - and also believes in the fact that they understand and know things better than you actually do, looking at what they have done over years, it’s a fair assumption, don’t you think? :) Over years Apple has perfected the art of executing the details when all other companies out there fail, continuously.
Now let’s dwell further to understand the story, let’s give it a fair trial.
I started using iOS 10 in July after the first public beta was out, trust me, I was shocked to see how the entire UI looked and felt, I am forced to believe that these decisions have some rationale behind - I simply can’t believe the fact that the world’s best minds can produce something so bad (offtrack, I still want to see the person who designed Windows 8 and Windows 10!).
  1. Typography: Apple wanted to make one thing very clear this year - the THEME - that they are really BOLD in everything they do - you can see it everywhere in iOS 10 UI design, bolder texts, prominent and bigger fonts - Trust me, I have read the iOS Human Interface Design Guidelines 10 times and I still don't nderstand the need for it; I mean it’s quite silly for a company like Apple to do, but I think except for the Music app - they kind of look apt after months of usage and probably would look great on future AMOLED screens Apple is planning to release next year!
  2. Rounded UI elements: This has been there always, they are quite prominent because of the new Widgets, they appear more often than before in a single screen space and hence we are forced to hate them - This is something I don’t like too, they occupy a lot of unnecessary space for a single notification or function and I share the frustration you do - I am sure Apple is going to revise the design over upcoming iterations of iOS 10. To be fair, Android Nougat owns this space!
  3. Music App: I have always used Saavn and Spotify for my music, but the drastic design change from iOS 9.3.x to iOS 10 didn’t miss my attention. I have been following subreddits and discussions, interesting enough, they have mixed reviews - many like the new design and some don’t, I am on your side on this - Apple has removed the subtle-wow factor in this app! As I say, Apple probably will revise the design quite frequently as they have done since iOS 9 - But this was never Apple, Apple always got it right the first time, right?
  4. Any Other Missed Features ! comment  in bellow section.
